Nudgr beta privacy notice

Your goals stay on your device

Your name, goals, tasks, and completion history are stored in this browser’s local storage. Unconfirmed transcript drafts are kept in this tab’s session storage so you can recover your words after refreshing. The beta does not synchronize them to a cloud account. Exported backups are files on your device. You can delete local app data in Settings. Clearing browser data also removes your saved plan; keep a backup first.

Accounts, Circles and invitations

When accounts are connected, Supabase stores your email, authentication credentials, unique username, first and last name, full display name, signup date, Circle connections and invitation history. Your first and last name form your searchable display name. Signed-in members can search usernames and display names; search does not expose email addresses. An invitation records the original inviter when the account is created, even if you choose not to join their Circle. Your inviter can see your username, display name, account creation date and whether you joined their Circle. Existing members accepting a link are recorded as Circle connections, not new-signup referrals. There are no referral rewards configured. Invitation links expire after 30 days and their owner can revoke them. Links are shared only when you copy or share them. Anyone holding a valid link can use it; avoid posting a private Circle link publicly. Request account or invitation-data deletion using the contact above. Signing out does not delete the plan stored on this device.

Shared Pact conversations

Signed-in Pact members share message history stored in Supabase, including messages sent before they joined. Messages identify the sending account and include server timestamps. Pact members can see the crew and accountability-partner assignments. The owner can invite or remove members, assign partners and transfer ownership. Removing a member stops their access to server history and subsequent messages; it cannot erase copies they already saw or saved. Invitation links grant the ability to accept membership, so share them carefully and revoke unused links. Named invitations can only be accepted by the specified account.

Unsent messages and composer drafts are stored on the current device, scoped to the sending account. Queued messages retry while Nudgr is open and connected or when you return. Signing out does not erase these drafts; another account in the app does not inherit them. Messages show Sent when the server accepts them; this does not mean every member has read them. Closed-app push notifications are not enabled. Pact messages are not automatically sent to the AI planner. Contact us for account or message-data deletion requests.

Social previews

Older Pact previews, saved contacts, and preview conversations are stored locally in this browser. They are not delivered to other people or synchronized between devices. Adding a contact does not contact that person. Sharing a Circle invitation link is a separate action you control. The current personal-plan backup includes goals and tasks, not Pact conversations.

Microphone and AI

Start voice capture by pressing the microphone. In browser voice mode, your browser’s speech recognition service transcribes your words and may send audio to its own servers. Nudgr receives the transcript. In recorded-audio mode, available only when configured, audio is sent through our server to Vercel AI Gateway and ElevenLabs for transcription on the hosted beta. OpenAI transcription is an alternative only when separately configured. Open Nudgr directly in Safari or Chrome if embedded-browser speech is unavailable.

When a voice capture finishes, its transcript, local date and timezone are sent to the configured AI provider to propose goals and tasks. Typed input is sent when you select Build my plan. Claude by Anthropic is used when its key is configured; OpenAI is the alternative when only its key is configured. We do not silently switch providers after a failed request. Nudgr shows the proposed plan on screen without spoken playback. If you tap the voice confirmation button, it starts a separate capture for up to six seconds. You can pause voice, decline confirmation or use the buttons instead. Nothing is added to your goals until you approve.

Audio is held temporarily for processing and is not saved as an audio library by Nudgr. Our application does not intentionally log audio or transcript content. Provider processing follows their policies: Anthropic’s privacy policy and, when OpenAI is configured, OpenAI’s API data controls. Hosted transcription follows Vercel and ElevenLabs privacy policies. Browser speech recognition may use services outside Nudgr. Please avoid capturing information you do not want processed by these services.

Beta access and service providers

A secure, HttpOnly session cookie keeps your invitation active for up to 12 hours. Signing out clears the cookie. Invitation identifiers and usage counters are used to limit AI requests. The quota service stores counters in Redis with expiry; it does not receive your plans or recordings. Login abuse protection uses a hashed network address where our hosting platform supplies a trusted address. Hosting and AI providers may process connection information, IP addresses, and operational logs to deliver and secure the service.

The beta has no advertising or third-party marketing analytics configured in its application code. We do not sell your goals or recordings. Information sent to providers may be processed outside your country.

Your choices

You can decline microphone permission, review and correct the proposed plan before saving, export and restore your goals, end your beta session, and reset local data. Contact us to request removal of an invitation or assistance with data held by service providers. Do not email us passwords, invitation codes, or API keys.

This private beta is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We will update this notice when the beta’s data handling changes.
